Zesty Smoked Salmon Spread



 This Spread is great on crackers, veggies or on a toasted bagel in the morning.

Ingredients:

  • 8-ounces of full fat cream cheese softened

  • ⅓ Cup full fat sour cream

  • 8-ounces of smoked salmon ( I use Mark’s)

  • 2-TBS fresh lemon juice

  • 1-TBS Worcestershire sauce

  • 2-TSP Dill

  • 2-TBS Horseradish (creamy)  If I use extra hot then I reduce it to 2 TSP

  • 3-TBS Capers

  • Salt/Pepper to taste


Instructions:

  1. Mix the ingredients: Blend the Cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, dill and horseradish in a stand mixer until creamy.  You can use a hand mixer, the goal is to make it very smooth.

  2. Add the Salmon: Add in the smoked salmon in small chunks and then stir in the capers.


  3. Taste & Flavor As Desired: Taste before adding the salt and pepper.  Due to the spice content of the smoked salmon, the amount to salt and pepper will vary.
